Private Label starts with a clear brief.
A useful brief should explain the target customer, retail positioning, intended price range, reference shapes, material preferences, branding requirements, expected quantities and launch timing. The more specific the commercial context, the easier it is for a manufacturer to propose realistic solutions.
From sketch to sample
Depending on the producer, development can begin from original sketches, reference products, technical drawings or modifications to an existing construction. Sampling is where proportions, pocket placement, handle drop, hardware size, reinforcement and finishing are tested in a real object.
Production is a separate decision.
An approved sample does not automatically define production conditions. Quantities, color split, material availability, packaging, quality checkpoints and delivery timing still need to be confirmed before an order moves forward.
